Almost 10,000 doses of vaccines reached MV
On Saturday a total of 9,750 doses of the Biontech and Pfizer vaccine were delivered to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in two thermo boxes. The goal is to initially vaccinate people 80 years of age or older. According to the Ministry of Health, this applies to more than 127,000 people across the country. Vaccinations begin in the elderly and nursing homes. A total of 40 mobile vaccination teams will be traveling across the country today. The teams are supported by the Technical Relief Organization and the German Rescue Society. Employees in nursing homes, medical and nursing staff in clinic intensive care units should also be vaccinated early on, as should older people living at home. According to the Minister of Health, Harry Glawe (CDU), they will be written to them in the next few days and then vaccination appointments can be arranged.

Vaccination centers start operating in January
The vaccination centers in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania will be able to start operating in January. The state’s health minister, Glawe, assumes the vaccination will take about two minutes.
