Large-scale operation Saturday night: Police broke up a party at an asylum in Landshut, Bavaria. An emergency call was received around 7 p.m., authorities wrote in a message. The police patrols that arrived were able to confirm the complaint: around 100 people celebrated with loud music in the facilities and violated the applicable crown rules. Many people were seriously drunk, it is said.
Together with the support of the riot police and the federal police, the party of enforcing hygiene regulations and protecting one’s neighbors was ended, the authority announced. More than 20 participants who lived in other accommodations and cities were evicted from the building. She was charged with trespassing.
Not everyone involved showed sympathy for the operation: the police had to detain a very drunk party guest. He and the other party participants are being investigated for violations of the Infection Protection Act.
Another guest at the party had passed out from drinking alcohol. The police had to call an ambulance for him. After the police operation ended around 9:15 pm, the situation at the asylum center calmed down again.
In Landshut, 465 people have been infected with the corona virus so far, nine of them have died. Currently, the seven-day incidence is 27.6. This means that, on average, there have been more than 26 new cases per 100,000 daily in the last seven days. Landshut is one of the 40 worst affected districts and cities in Germany.
