In Rostock, the first series of corona tests was completed at the Hundertwasser school in Lichtenhagen: infection was detected in 15 people, the city administration announced Sunday night. In five other cases, however, the results are still unclear: these tests will be repeated today. Due to these suspected cases, the city initially announced a higher number of infected people and later corrected it downward.
The brothers are tested
In addition, today five siblings of students who tested positive at the Hundertwasserschule will be tested. These are elementary school and nursery school children. “All families with contact persons for these children have been informed. If you haven’t received a call, you don’t have to worry,” said Rostock Social Senator Steffen Bockhahn (Die Linke).
Bockhahn: the cluster shrinks
Looking at the infection rate at the school, Bockhahn said the group was now limited. “The measures ordered so far have been successful and will prevent further spread.” Following the occurrence of the first cases, the school was closed on Friday.
