Apple users are currently the victims of a text message that causes iPhones and iPads to crash when received.
The message contains characters in the Sindhi language, in the middle of which there is usually an Italian emoji flag. However, some users report a similar message with a different emoji flag (see Twitter post below), which also causes their devices to crash.
It also happens that the smartphone or tablet does not simply turn off after receiving the message, but no longer reacts to touch input.
Until now, the origin of the message is unclear. The text is believed to have originally come from a chat group on the Telegram messaging service. In the meantime, however, the message has spread widely on social media, so the message has already been sent via WhatsApp, Twitter, iMessage, and Co. and temporarily paralyzes devices.
