Chris Christie walks away from Donald Trump: “I was wrong”

These are words that are rarely heard in politics in the United States right now: “I was wrong.” The American politician Chris Christie wrote this sentence after his corona infection, which he had for the moment, at the end of last week.

The words seemed like a clear message to Donald Trump, who had downplayed the virus multiple times since his hospital discharge and exclusive treatment. Christie admitted, “I was wrong not to wear a mask when I announced Amy Coney Barrett, and it was wrong not to wear a mask during my multiple prep sessions with the president and the rest of the team.”

When Trump’s candidate for the vacant Supreme Court seat, Amy Coney Barrett, officially appeared on the White House lawn on Sept. 26, Christie sat in the front rows. The photos show how he hugged people and kept no distance. “I don’t know who infected me and how often this person has been tested,” Christie said late last week. He felt safe.
