Apple is the only smartphone manufacturer to develop both the performance hardware and the iOS operating system itself. In the Android department, all manufacturers trust Google’s operating system. This cannot be specially adapted to a combination of hardware. In addition, many manufacturers also give the operating system its own software interface, which also needs its own performance requirements. The only Android manufacturer that could produce and coordinate software and hardware on its cell phones is Google with its pixel smart phones. However, the software giant also gets its chips from the American manufacturer Qualcomm and does not develop its own chips.
