Somber prospect: To bring Schalke back to sunnier areas of the table after a disastrous start to the season with three losses and 1:15 goals, Baum would actually need access in the remaining hours until the end of the transfer window. Problem: S04 has no money and may lose substance instead of managing it: Nabil Bentaleb will be traded as Davy Klaassen’s successor if he must leave Bremen for Amsterdam.
