The 1st and 2nd Bundesliga clubs have been testing the crown virus across the country since Thursday; this is what the DFL hygiene concept provides, which should create the conditions for a quick restart of play. The first clash on Friday: at 1. FC Köln, two professionals and a supervisor tested positive!
So far, however, these are the only known cases in the entire league. For all other clubs, the tests were apparently negative. However, far from all the clubs have published their results.
No crown cases at BVB, Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen
Meanwhile, at Borussia Dortmund, there should be no positive results. This is reported by the “Ruhr Nachrichten”. The club itself did not want to comment. The situation is different with Bayer Leverkusen, who announced on Saturday night that all tests were unsuccessful.
Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen also reported via Twitter that there were no positive results from the team and supervisory staff.
Both clubs must retest on Sunday.
Managing Director Alexander Wehrle of 1. FC Köln is optimistic
“The bottom line is that the whole concept is viable. The tests show that we can identify and minimize risks at an early stage, ”said FC Managing Director Alexander Wehrle of the positive results of the EXPRESS tests.
Wehrle continues to believe that the Bundesliga will soon be able to start playing again. (kos)
