After a last minute goal from FC Augsburg, FC Schalke 04 were left winless for their 27th consecutive game, but that was a minor matter given Mark Uth’s serious injury.
Forward Mark Uth lost consciousness in FC Augsburg’s turbulent 2: 2 (0: 1) after a head collision with Felix Uduokhai and had to be taken off the pitch after a long pause in treatment. As Schalke announced during the match, the 29-year-old was “approachable and stable”.

Brave start of Schalke
