► Axel Fries, the owner of the house where the crime occurred, observed the crime. He told the NonstopNews news agency: “The children and the woman lived temporarily in the back of my house because they no longer wanted to be with the father.”

On Monday, the man initially attacked her with a knife in the kitchen. She ran away, the perpetrator later. Outside, the man threw the woman into the garden pond.

Fries rushed to help: “Then he shot me and kept pushing the woman under the water to drown. He chased me with a knife and a gun, but then he released me and then ran away.

Neither Fries nor the alarmed emergency doctor could revive the woman. For Fries, the reason is clear: “I had a new friend, that was a new partner.”

The witness also knew the perpetrator well: “He was a quiet guy, he was over 60 years old. I didn’t trust him, I had already talked to him about the matter.”
