Violation of the curfew in Berlin
The curfew now applies in Berlin. But not all store owners stick with it. There was a police operation.

In the fight against the corona virus, Berlin is tightening the rules. In the capital, the stricter requirements for private celebrations have been back in force since Saturday. Also, there is now a curfew. Restaurants, pubs, and most shops should be closed between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
According to the Berlin state government, the rules will go into effect on Saturday night. At midnight, for example, several bars in the Neukölln district closed; some people kept smoking in front of them, then the groups broke up. But there were also curfew violations.
Police enter the shops on Simon-Dach-Straße
Our police reporter reported that the celebrations continued at some locations on Simon-Dach-Strasse. Spätis, snacks and some pubs remained open. People got together and bought alcohol. After a while a police car arrived. Three officers came out and compromised sandwiches, bars, pubs.
Police clears the restaurant
More than 80 people celebrated after midnight in a restaurant on Oranienplatz in Kreuzberg. They did not initially respond to police instructions and did not want to leave the store. Later, the police ordered the evacuation of the store.
The officials were also on duty at the Schlesisches Tor metro station and had to close several stores. The police officers also approached a larger group of people because there were more than five people. According to Corona rules, only five people from different households or people from two households can be together outdoors from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. (with dpa)
