The transfer of Ajax Amsterdam defender Sergino Dest to Bayern Munich could be announced shortly, at least that’s what an Instagram post from the 19-year-old suggests.
So Dest posted Tuesday afternoon a picture of you in a hoodie and the tell-tale spot “Paulaner Nockherberg”. At the same time, FC Bayern held their traditional Oktoberfest photoshoot in leather pants.
Dest could have already been part of the behind-the-scenes shoot, even if FC Bayern did not release any pictures of the American national player. A little later, Dest deleted the image with the location and posted a similar photo, this time without the location.
Dutch media reports had already reported on Monday that the transfer was almost complete: Dest should back Benjamin Pavard in the last four at Bayern. The transfer fee is around 20 million euros.
Dest’s contract with Ajax runs until 2022. In the new season he was used twice, but each time as a left back.
