Autopsy result: about 85 percent died from the virus

A much debated aspect of the number of deaths in the corona pandemic is the question of whether someone died from the virus or with it, that is, whether the infection was the cause of death or whether the disease was concomitant. Autopsies provide information and are important to improve the treatment of future Covid 19 patients. Aachen University Hospital has been evaluating autopsy results across the country since April and found that around 85 percent of those affected died a cause of the virus.
