Serious accident on Saturday afternoon in Berlin-Reinickendorf! An Audi driver first crashed into a street and then stopped in the area of a gas station. Caught a pedestrian.
According to police, a 27-year-old man drove his Audi through Kurt-Schumacher-Damm onto Autobahn 111 at around 12:25 p.m. During the trip, the young man switched from the left lane to the right to finally drive to the site of a gas station.
The driver initially spotted a pedestrian on the sidewalk and then pressed a price screen at the gas station.
The pedestrian was struck by the hood of the car, then fell to the ground and suffered serious injuries to his head and torso. Alarmed rescuers took the 37-year-old man to a hospital, where he remains hospitalized after an operation.
A commissioner specializing in traffic offenses from Directorate 1 (North) is conducting the ongoing investigations.
