“Assassin’s Creed Valhalla”: the Viking adventure will arrive in late 2020

Dusseldorf Ubisoft has announced a new episode of its video game series “Assassin’s Creed”. It is named “Valhalla” and is expected to appear on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC in late 2020. There should also be versions for the new Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles.

New episode takes place in 9th century England.

The special thing about “Assassin’s Creed” is that almost all parts of the series take place in a different historical era. In the last two parts, it was ancient Egypt and ancient Greece. “Valhalla” now takes place in England, in the Viking Age towards the end of the 9th century.

As in the previous “Odyssey”, players can choose between a female or male hero. In the role of this hero, they control the fortune of a Viking clan seeking a new home after fleeing Norway. As a Viking, players can, among other things, embark on longboat forays, forge political alliances, and, of course, wage numerous battles.
