Anime fan-created card set in Japan

It is well known that many anime movies and series are set in real Japanese locations. So a fan recently created a very special map of Japan in which various anime titles represent the prefectures of the country.

The card shows a well-known anime

The creator of this somewhat different map of Japan is Reddit user FetchFrosh, who posted his work on the platform. In a small message that can be seen at the top left of the card, it says about its creation:

»This card contains anime that is set in certain regions of Japan, is strongly inspired by them, or highlights certain regions. An anime does not have to be completely based on a particular prefecture to be considered. A maximum of five anime was selected for each of the 47 Japanese prefectures. “

Each region (Chubu, Chugoku, Hokkaido, Kansai, Kanto, Kyushu, Shikoku, Tohoku) of the island state was assigned its own color. The individual areas are then divided into 47 prefectures. You can get a full screen view of the map by clicking on the image!
