The entire structure with which the federal and state governments wanted to deal with the pandemic has been cracked. Germany is experiencing a new form of loss of political control.
Band countries have come up with something new. You have put a chart in front of your latest decision on how to deal with the corona pandemic. This is not just any trick, it is an admission. Gradually it becomes difficult even for those who regularly and intensively study individual measures against the spread of the virus. Even those who, in the meantime, bring terms like seven-day incidence, non-contact sports, and effortless body hugging services from waking to sleep, may lose track of what is allowed and what is forbidden, when and under what circumstances.
There can be no final master plan with which each restaurateur can calculate exactly how many guests they can accommodate until the next Christmas goose. Because no one knows if a new mutation of the virus is heading for Germany during a federal-state meeting that is making plans, the beautiful idea of an all-inclusive “roadmap out of the pandemic” is sadly silly. The five steps that have now been decided to open it until April are also wasted the moment the virus gets out of control.
