An open 2K letter to the WWE gaming community

Everyone here at 2K hopes that you and your families are well and well. We also hope that our games and the vibrant communities you have created around you will continue to bring you joy and help you stay connected and engaged in these uncertain times. We are fortunate to be in the entertainment industry and this is a privilege and responsibility that we do not take lightly.
With this in mind, we would like to share news from the WWE 2K video game world and give you an idea of the route ahead.
Let’s start with a surprise in two words: NEW GAME! We hope to see you soon WWE 2K Battlegrounds to introduce a whole new WWE gaming experience featuring arcade-style action and exaggerated superstar designs, environments, and moves. We focus on having fun together at all times, but with a lot of depth for everyone who wants to bite the game.

Whether it’s for the casual gamer who’s just learning the basics or the passionate fan who’s ready for all the action, WWE 2K Battlegrounds offers another way to enjoy the action of WWE video games. The game is from Saber Interactive, the study behind NBA playgrounds, developed. The team is working hard WWE 2K Battlegrounds and expect to let you smell what they cooked.
The beginning of WWE 2K Battlegrounds It is planned for this fall and we hope to release more information about the game in the coming months.

We have Patrick Gilmore that our new Executive producer who will lead these efforts at Visual Concepts. Patrick Gilmore has over 25 years of experience with video games ranging from Disney Aladdin go back to the sega mega drive and play ranks like Murderous instinct, Medal of Honor and more recently Amazon The new World include. He will develop WWE 2K Monitor and hear more from him and the team in the coming months.
