The parties are said to be in advanced talks, an agreement is imminent. Kluivert will trade RB on loan, it is not yet clear if the Leipziger can secure a call option.

Split instead of Rashica

For a long time, Milot Rashica of Werder Bremen was the favorite player of the Champions League participant. A compromise on the part of the 24-year-old was not financially viable. The loan model makes the Kluivert transfer much easier for RB to implement.

Kluivert moved from Ajax Amsterdam to Giallorossi in 2018 for around € 17 million. In a total of 68 competitive matches, he has since scored nine goals and ten assists. His contract in Rome runs until 2023.

TO UPDATE (1:12 pm): According to the Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, RB pays a rent of 1.5 million euros. In addition, there should be a purchase obligation that takes effect when Kluivert plays a certain number of games.
