Two courts annul the accommodation ban
Courts in two federal states overturned the controversial accommodation ban. Saxony picked it up for himself. “Here are people who have nothing to do with this disease,” Saxony Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer said.

Saxony is also lifting the accommodation ban for people from risk areas of Corona. The government announced this Thursday after a conversation with district administrators and mayors of the Free State. The regulation should apply from Saturday. The Saarland is also lifting the accommodation ban. Starting this Friday, travelers from domestic hotspots will no longer have to submit a negative corona test when spending the night in Saarland, as government spokesman Alexander Zeyer announced on Thursday.
The Baden-Württemberg court considered the breach of the fundamental right to freedom of movement disproportionate. Kretschmann announces exception for business trips

However, the federal and state governments agreed to, among other things, expand the requirement for masks, limit the number of guests at private celebrations, contact restrictions in public spaces and a curfew for restaurants.
