According to police, a 16-year-old boy died Friday night after a violent confrontation. A 19-year-old young man is detained. The police are looking for witnesses.

The discussion between several young people took place around 6.15 pm at a viewing point on Am Schloßwall street in the Flensburg district of Duborg. It is not known what it was about. According to police, the 16-year-old was stabbed in the head with a knife. The perpetrator and others involved fled while witnesses cared for the victim until police and rescuers arrived at the scene a few minutes later. The young man was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a little later.

The police are looking for witnesses

The homicide commission took over the investigation and was able to arrest a 19-year-old suspect on Saturday night. He was in custody, as the police announced on Saturday night. The autopsy confirmed that the stabbing was the cause of death. Agents are looking for other witnesses and requesting information by calling 0461/4840.
