In a forest near Seevetal, workers have discovered a dirt bunker with a barrel. Possibly the remnants of the Red Army Faction (RAF). The LKA of Lower Saxony determined.
A reference to the RAF cannot be ruled out after an initial assessment of the written material found, the LKA announced on Saturday. The underground deposit is supposed to have been created decades ago. The age of the objects found suggests that, according to a spokeswoman. Therefore, the documents are from the eighties. Therefore, the LKA currently assumes that the find does not provide any proof of the whereabouts of the three former RAF members Ernst Volker Staub, Burkhard Garweg and Daniela Klette who had gone into hiding. The RAF was dissolved in 1998.
