According to initial information, a resident alerted firefighters when he noticed flames in the Luruper Hauptstrasse cemetery.
When officers arrived, several yards of bushes were on fire. But suddenly a firefighter raised the alarm!
During the extinction work, he discovered a body a few meters from the road.
The police were alerted immediately.
It is currently unclear why the body was in the cemetery. “The investigation is still ongoing,” officials said.
According to the police, the dead man was a 65-year-old man who died in a fire in his store.
