Arrest warrants after Berlin-Kreuzberg shooting: clan size in coma?

The prosecution has issued two arrest warrants following a shooting in Kreuzberg with four seriously injured people. One of the injured is said to be from a well-known clan.

After the organized crime scene in Berlin-Kreuzberg, the prosecution issued arrest warrants for two men. These were against a 30-year-old man for attempted murder in three cases and against a 39-year-old man for illegally carrying and possessing a firearm, as the Berlin prosecutor announced on Sunday night on Twitter. Both suspects are currently in the hospital due to their gunshot wounds.

Known clan size in a coma?

Shooting was fired early on Saturday morning in Stresemannstrasse, in the immediate vicinity of the SPD party headquarters. The prosecution assumes that the shooting was a crime in the context of organized crime. Four men, ages 30, 39 and 42, were seriously injured. According to the current state of knowledge, the residents alerted the police. Emergency services found three injured at the alleged crime scene. A fourth injured man jumped into the nearby Landwehr Canal, from which rescuers pulled him out.

According to reports from “Bild”, the 39-year-old injured person is a known member of the clan. Veysel K., a former supporter of the Abou Chaker clan, who sided with Bushido in 2018 after the clan feud. It is said that he is in a coma. Arafat Abou-Chaker’s brother is also said to have been injured.

As reported by “Bild”, there are video recordings of the shooting. Consequently, one of those implicated is said to have shot another in the back before fire was returned. It is not yet clear what role the affected apartment plays, in front of which the shooting took place. Apparently there were poker paraphernalia on a gaming table. Police have yet to comment on “Bild’s” suspicion that it was a poker dispute.
