Thuringia district issues a full-day curfew
The Eichsfeld district in Thuringia is introducing a full-day curfew and tighter contact restrictions.

The district published a corresponding general decree on Sunday.
It should go into effect on Monday. Consequently, citizens should only leave their home for a valid reason.
This includes, among other things, shopping errands, how to work, or walks with the dog.
Depending on the district’s decision, participation in funerals or civil marriages is also a valid reason.
Starting Monday, the Eichsfelder should only be able to meet people in their own home in public spaces.
