Jasmin Wagner gets divorced
Five years ago, singer Jasmin Wagner, aka Blümchen, married a Swiss businessman. Rumors that the couple broke up in the media last summer. Now the former teen star confirms: “I’m going to get divorced.”
Right at the beginning of the interview for the podcast “Grazia Women”, the singer Jasmin Wagner, known by the artist name Blümchen, spoke about a big change in her private life: “I am getting divorced”, she explains in the episode published on Christmas Eve . Since separating from her husband, Swiss businessman Frank Sippel, she has spent much more time with her “main friends”, which feels like “coming home”.
The 40-year-old singer goes on to explain that parting is something that can’t just be done. This included a year of divorce and some hurdles to overcome. When the divorce date you are working for comes around, you could imagine a divorce party. “Then life is celebrated that is full of successes but also failures, so the latter can also be an opportunity.” Ideally, in addition to longtime girlfriends, your ex-husband can also come to the party.
In February 2015, the couple said yes. Rumors of a split between the two emerged last summer. According to the “Bild” newspaper, Wagner moved out of the shared apartment in Berlin in August and went on vacation to Greece on his own. A friend of the couple told the newspaper at the time that the two had grown apart.
Wagner became known in the 1990s as Blümchen with songs like “Herz an Herz” or “Kleiner Satellit”. The artist was also seen as a presenter and actress. In 2019 she celebrated a comeback on stage as Blümchen.
