Union plans to tax online purchases

The authors of the document are the deputy leader of the Union parliamentary group, Andreas Jung, responsible for financial policy, and Christian Haase, the local political spokesman for the parliamentary group. According to “WamS”, the reason for their move is as follows: “With the income, online retailers share the costs of the municipal infrastructure they use. This eliminates the imbalance compared to the fixed retailer, which already today contributes significantly significant to the municipal budget with its taxes. “
