As confirmed by the police in response to a request from BZ, an unknown number of men broke into the money transporter’s security guards and threatened the men, presumably with firearms. It has not yet been possible to say whether shots have been fired.

A spokeswoman: “The thieves met the transporter at the rear entrance of the Ikea building and then fled without being recognized.” The spokeswoman could not yet say whether the men had stolen anything.

At first, it is unlikely that there are people in danger, as the attack took place at the rear of the building.

Currently, a helicopter flies over the Südkreuz area in Schöneberg. The hunt for the perpetrators is in full swing, as sales continue at Ikea.

Because it is the last shopping day before closing. Already on Monday there was a great bustle at Ikea in Schöneberg.

There was a long line in front of the market and drivers almost never got out of the parking lot. BZ stopped time: reporters stayed in the parking lot for 32 minutes!
