At 3:22 pm on Monday afternoon, the new era officially began at Borussia Dortmund. Edin Terzic had his first full team training. However, that only took a good 60 minutes. Shortly after 5pm, the BVB group headed to Bremen on the A1 in the two team buses.
Bremen game comes too early for Delaney and Meunier
Thomas Delaney and Thomas Meunier had completed the drive at Brackel with the team, but drove home a few minutes later in their private car; therefore, the return of the two defensive players will take place in Berlin on Friday at the earliest. Also, Thorgan Hazard, Erling Haaland and Marcel Schmelzer are missing in Bremen.
Co-coach Manfred Stefes said his personal farewell to the team on Monday. The 53-year-old left the venue shortly after training began and also made a brief stop at the front door. The new BVB era begins.
