On Sunday morning Bayern manager Markus Söder (53, CSU) announced the tough lockdown, and he had a lot to do with BILD Live at night!
Ethics professor Christoph Lütge (51) said Söder in a video message: “This is a policy that completely put the trust of the people at risk!” Explosive: The economist and philosopher, employed at the Technical University of Munich, advises Söder at the Bavarian Council of Ethics!
And further: “What we are currently experiencing is the revealing oath of German Crown policy! Because, we have always said: Confinement is the worst that can come!” Politicians cause “severe economic damage, (.. .) medical damage to health and, in the long term, many other long-term psychological and social consequences ”.
Then Söder gets going!
“I think the teacher is wrong. He is wrong because, on the one hand, he has a rather minor opinion: the overwhelming number of scientists insisted. In this sense, the decision is absolutely correct! “
▶ ︎ Individual measures are allowed to be discussed, “but the baseline, the basic course, is correct. And everyone who told me Corona isn’t so bad after all, everyone who also helped undermine acceptance a bit (…), they should have no more reason not to participate! “
Söder wants to get vaccinated “as a role model”
Regarding the vaccine, which will probably also receive approval in the EU in the coming days, Söder said: “We don’t really want any vaccine, but we want a great willingness to vaccinate, a willingness to participate.”
His ad: “That’s why I also say that when it is my turn and the vaccine is available, then I will also get vaccinated to set an appropriate example and demonstrate that the vaccine is safe.”
Germany has the vaccine from the German company Biontech in cooperation with the American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, and also the other vaccines, approved through the European approval authority in Amsterdam, which, however, takes much longer than in countries like United States or England.
Söder still believes the approval process is a good one, even if he “can’t imagine” the vaccine won’t get approved anyway. The procedure goes “in the European Union (…) with a lot of pressure.”
“You must protect the sensible from the unreasonable
Söder also praises the Germans: “Many people did a great job, but not all, and that is why carelessness and irrationality were one of the main reasons for the increasing number of infections. That is why we have to react again now ”. It demands: “We must protect the sensible from the unreasonable.”
▶ ︎ Y: Söder emphasizes how important it is to protect people now: you have many more intensive care beds than in the spring “and yet they are running out. We also have more sick people than ever in Germany, in Bavaria! ”The numbers increased by leaps and bounds everywhere last week.
Söder defends the triage statement
After the Corona summit, Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (53, CSU) urgently warned about overloading and so-called triage (spoken: Triasch) “There is already some triage in Germany,” Söder said.
But there was a contradiction: Despite the “heavy loads” in the clinics, Germany was “still very, very far from classification,” Marx said on BILD Live.
Söder himself defended his statement. “This is a wake-up call,” Bavaria’s head of government told BILD Live last night. Without strict measures, it is “only a matter of time before everything runs out.”
