The Tuttlingen district and the Schwarzwald-Baar district drastically restrict public life. Contact restrictions, mask requirements, and bans are tightened again.

In view of the high number of infections, the Tuttlingen district and the Schwarzwald-Baar district have issued a general decree with drastic new crown measures. Public and private households can only meet with one other person starting on Saturday; no more than five people in total are allowed to gather. Children up to and including 14 years old are excluded.

Events are prohibited with some exceptions, for example religious gatherings such as religious services. Only 50 people can attend funerals. Hospitals and nursing homes can only be visited after a negative antigen test or with an FFP2 mask.

Mask requirement fits

The mask requirement is also tightened in both districts and extends to the downtown areas of Trossingen, Tuttlingen, Villingen-Schwenningen and Donaueschingen. Hundreds of thousands affected by the new corona rules

The new rules will apply until December 20, unless the so-called seven-day incidence falls below the critical mark of 200 new infections per 100,000 residents within a week for seven days in a row. In the Tuttlingen district and the Schwarzwald-Baar district, Thursday’s value was slightly below the limit again for the first time: in the Tuttlingen district at 192.5, in the Schwarzwald-Baar district at 195.3. Almost 350,000 people live in the two districts.

Calw District is also tightening measures
