Brexit Boris Becomes A Vaccination Pioneer!
The UK pharmaceutical regulatory authority has issued an emergency approval for the corona vaccine from Mainz-based company Biontech and its US partner Pfizer.
Swiftly Against the Pandemic: The vaccine should be available in the country next week, the government announced in London on Wednesday. “Help is on the way,” Health Secretary Matt Hancock wrote on Twitter.
It is the first approval of the BNT162b2 vaccine worldwide. Prime Minister Boris Johnson gave a press conference that night and explained the vaccination plan. He spoke of “a great day for us!”

Despite a “hopeful day,” the warning: “The crown crisis is not over,” Johnson said. “Please continue to follow the rules of Corona.”
The first 800,000 doses of the vaccine should be available in the country next week.
Johnson praises the German company
Johnson highlighted the expertise of experts in developing the corona vaccine for Mainz-based pharmaceutical company Biontech. According to the prime minister, they tackled the virus with “organic Jiu Jitsu.”
As with the mild Asian martial art, they would have directed the force of the virus against themselves. The vaccine contains the blueprint of part of the pathogen.
In most parts of the world there is no vaccine available for widespread use. China and Russia, among others, have long vaccinated certain population groups.
The first deliveries should arrive in the UK in a few days, Biontech and Pfizer confirmed. Therefore, it has reached an agreement with Great Britain for the delivery of a total of 40 million doses of vaccine by December and next year.
The UK has been particularly hard hit by the pandemic and many of the chronically underfunded hospitals have already reached their capacity limits. According to the Department of Health, nearly 60,000 people in the UK have already died from Covid-19. A large number of unreported cases are anticipated. Prime Minister Boris Johnson is accused of reacting too late and inadequately to the crisis in the crown.
