Clan feud escalates in Kreuzberg: large-scale police operation! – BZ Berlin

At around 9:30 pm Monday night in Kreuzberg on Mittenwalder Strasse in front of Club 44 there were clashes, according to initial information between clans. The extended families are said to have attacked each other with baseball bats.

It is said that it all started at Schönleinstrasse / Böckhstrasse and then continued on Mittenwalder Strasse. The police seized several apartments and a restaurant of those involved in Kreuzberg. According to initial information, hundreds of people had to be gathered for the operation, including agents from various police sections and the MEK.

In various places in Kreuzberg, heavily armed officers with machine guns could be seen. They searched cars on Gneisenaustraße / Schleiermacher Straße and found several baseball bats in an Audi. According to initial findings, at least one seized car was also damaged.

A ground floor apartment on the Gneisenaustrasse was also examined and the window panes were broken. It is checked if it is an old damage or an attack in context.

The agents carried out various personal checks, identification of persons and threat addresses.

According to information from BZ, it is said to be a continuation of the dispute at Mittenwalder Straße / Fürbringerstraße, in which a man was shot three days ago.
