And they know it,” Trump said when asked if he would leave the White House if the electoral college voted for Biden. Trump added, however, that the so-called Electoral College would make a “mistake” in the case.
In the United States, the president is not elected directly by the electorate, but by a college of election officials who belong to the Electoral College. The electoral college consists of 538 voters. Biden needs at least 270 votes.

After the polls on November 3, the Democrat has more than 300 voters, so the television stations declared Biden the winner of the presidential election. Trump has refused to acknowledge his electoral defeat for weeks. Over and over again the Republican talks about alleged electoral fraud.
Election officials for Trump’s Republicans firmly reject the fraud allegations, officials even talking about “the safest elections in US history.”
