Lüneburg. Comedian and actor Karl Dall, who died on Monday at the age of 79, has died, his family announced to the German press agency. Dall has not recovered from a stroke he suffered twelve days ago. Despite the use of all intensive technological and medical measures, today he fell asleep peacefully, without having regained consciousness beforehand. He leaves behind his wife, daughter and granddaughter, ”says the family’s letter. “He was not only a popular comedian and entertainer, but most of all, an exceptionally lovable and personable person.”

Dall had taken on the role of old rock star Richie Sky on the ARD daily series “Rote Rosen” since early November. In Lüneburg, where the soap opera is being filmed, on November 11 he suffered a stroke with a brain hemorrhage.

Dall had started his career in the group Insterburg & Co. He later moderated television talk shows as a silly bard and joke, charted with hits like “This record is a hit” and “Millions of women love me. they love ”and played mostly minor roles in front of the camera. The entertainer has not had his own television show like the formats “Dall-As” (1985-1991 on RTL) and “Jux und Dallerei” (1992-1994) on Sat.1 for a long time.
