President Donald Trump sees himself again as a victim of fraud in the US elections; he has no proof of it. Trump’s remarks now go too far for his party friends.
US President Donald Trump has received harsh criticism from members of his party after his press conference at the White House. “There is no justification for the president’s remarks tonight that undermine our democratic process,” Maryland Republican Gov. Larry Hogan wrote on Twitter Thursday night (local time).
“America counts the votes and we have to respect the results, as we always have. No choice or person is more important than our democracy,” Hogan continued.

In an interview with the PBS station, he accused Trump and his side of having prepared the ground for the current procedure – the questioning of the results – with warnings about voting by mail. Hogan is the president of the National Governors Association.
“This is freaking out”
Sen. Pat Toomey, also a Republican, told CNN: “I am not aware of any significant level of fraud. No one has alerted me to anything that would lead me to say that there is a huge fraud case that needs to be addressed immediately.”
Congressman Adam Kinzinger asked that evidence be produced for the fraud charges and that they appear in court. “Stop spreading exposed misinformation … This is freaking out,” he wrote on Twitter.
The president of the Senate Judiciary Committee and Trump confidant, Lindsey Graham, in turn supports the president on the American television channel Fox News and promised to support Trump with $ 500,000 for his demands against the vote count.
Faced with imminent defeat in the US elections, Trump presented himself as a victim of fraud at a press conference at the White House.
