Trump on video: President Talks About 2020 US Election – Politics

[ad_1]

US President Donald Trump speaks at the White House about the counting of votes in the presidential election. Trump has not appeared in front of the cameras since election night when he declared himself the winner during the count. His chances of re-election have been significantly diminished recently in the race against his Democratic challenger Joe Biden. Trump has taken legal action against the results or the additional counting of votes cast in several states.

Trump has been claiming for months without receiving a receipt that the risk of fraud is higher with mail ballots. He refused to guarantee a peaceful transfer of power. So far, no significant cases of voter fraud have been reported in the US.

In the states of Pennsylvania and Georgia, Trump’s head start is shrinking as more ballots received by mail are evaluated. In view of Corona’s risk, Democratic Party supporters had made more use of the vote-by-mail option than Republicans. In Pennsylvania, ballots that arrive up to three days after the November 3 election date must still be counted. There were delays at the US Post in recent months.
