So let me be clear: I, we, fight as Democrats, but I will rule as American President. The presidency itself is not a partisan institution, but the only office in this nation that represents everyone. And it requires attention for all Americans. That is exactly what I will do: I will work as hard for those who did not vote for me as for those who voted for me. Now all votes must be counted. No one will take away our democracy. Not now, not never. America has gone too far, America has fought too many battles. The United States has endured too much to allow this to happen. We, the people, are not being silenced.
