Borussia Mönchengladbach missed their first Champions League win of the season. Against Real Madrid, the Gladbachers led 2-0 for a long time with a double from Marcus Thuram (minute 33, 58), but then had to be followed by Karim Bezema (87th) and in injury time by Casemiro (90 ° + 3) accept. Borussia had a similar experience at the start of the season in the premier class, when Inter Milan managed to make it 2-2 (0-0) just before the final whistle.
Both teams attacked from the start, Gladbach’s defense made it difficult for Real as planned, but Borussia hardly had a chance on offense.
