According to the Robert Koch Institute, wearing a visor cannot provide the same protection as a textile covering for the mouth and nose that is close to the face. “Therefore, the visors are not a fundamental substitute for a textile nose cover,” the ministry said. However, if permanent use of a cloth mouth and nose guard is not possible for medical reasons or causes health problems, a visor could be a sensible alternative in individual cases, the authority added.
Visors are classified differently in the federal states.

A general decree has been in force in Dresden since today. The administration is reacting to the high number of new corona infections in the city. Alcohol cannot be served or sold between 10 pm and 5 am, restaurants and bars must close during this time. In public spaces, a mask is generally required if you stay there longer, even in restaurants.
