Timmendorfer Strand (Schleswig-Holstein) – Due to the increasing number of new corona infections in recent times, the state of Schleswig-Holstein has decided to ban the accommodation. Vacationers from so-called risk zones may not be accommodated. The Higher Administrative Court only rejected an urgent request against this ban, which had been submitted on Friday by a family from North Rhine-Westphalia.

But now, of all the people, three employees of a hotel in Schleswig-Holstein’s tourist stronghold, Timmendorfer Strand, have hired Corona. The result: the Ostholstein district health department ordered the closure of the affected “Grand Hotel Seeschlösschen”.

200 guests must leave, 101 employees must be quarantined. This is what the “News from Lübeck“.

According to the Ostholstein district, all affected employees worked in different areas of the home. Therefore, a distribution among the entire workforce cannot be ruled out.

“The 101 hotel employees who worked there in the last 14 days have been classified as Category 1 contacts,” says district spokeswoman Carina Leonhardt.

Leonhardt continues: “All employees are quarantined at home. For employees who tested positive, home quarantine was also ordered for family members living with them at home. “

The Ostholstein District Health Department has closed the hotel; about 200 guests have to leave. They were classified as Category 2 contacts.

This means that they did not have direct contact with the infected people. You are allowed to be tested voluntarily and should be on the lookout for symptoms of a possible infection in the coming days. They do not need to be quarantined.
