The federal and state governments could not find a uniform approach to the lodging ban on Wednesday and postponed the final decision until early November. As a result, some states had already announced the end of the prohibition regulation or even implemented it directly, others such as North Rhine-Westphalia had never enforced the provision. In Baden-Württemberg, a court overturned the accommodation ban on Thursday. In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, on the other hand, travelers from corona hotspots with a high number of new infections must show a negative corona test to enter or enter quarantine.
Dehoga: correct and important decision
Angela Inselkammer, president of the Bavarian Hotel and Restaurant Association Dehoga, said in an initial reaction that she was very relieved.
