Germany is looking at the Federal Chancellery today: at the federal-state summit (which takes place from 2 pm), new corona measures will be decided to prevent an uncontrollable corona outbreak across the country!

One thing is clear: the lives of many German citizens are likely to change suddenly after the summit if the points of the draft resolution are applied.

► With an incidence of seven days (frequency of new infections in a region in seven days per 100,000 inhabitants) of 35, the first measures should be taken to contain the virus and prevent it from rising to the critical value of 50.

According to the draft resolution (available from BILD): “It is necessary to reduce the number of contacts in the population despite the onset of the cold season and the associated relocation of many indoor activities to areas where there is a particular risk of infection. ”

In other words: even with an incidence of 35 in seven days in these regions …

● “An additional mask requirement should be introduced when people come closer and / or longer.”

● “a curfew should be introduced (…) in the restaurant sector. Bars and clubs will be closed.”

● “the number of participants in events can be limited to a certain number”.

● “A limit of participants in public and private areas applies.”

And although more and more regions of Germany (including Düsseldorf, Bremen, Essen, Munich, Frankfurt / Main, Berlin and Stuttgart) are considered corona risk areas, the 35 incidence regions include many more.

Because: According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the value of seven days in Germany is currently 29.6. Berlin (60.5) and Bremen (70.8) are above the 50 mark, all of North Rhine-Westphalia already at 39.7. Hesse (34.1) and Baden-Württemberg (31.6) are approaching the threshold of 35.

The hit list

Here are the crash numbers for individual regions according to the Robert Koch Institute (as of October 14 at 12 a.m.):

According to BILD research, 13.6 million German citizens are currently part of a risk area. If you add the circles listed, there are another 13 million German citizens in prepress 35!

That means: more than 26 million people in Germany will probably soon have to live with restrictions, that is, almost one in three people in the country!

But: Saxon Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (45, CDU) wants to tip seven-day incidents!

Before the summit, he said: “We can see from the reactions not only in Saxony, but in Germany as a whole, that this instrument is too sharp a sword with the question of 50 patients per 100,000 inhabitants.”

He also rejected a tightening of the crown’s rules.
