Viersen district There are corona cases at two Nettetal facilities. A kindergarten in the Lobberich district and the municipal hospital are affected.
As announced on Sunday by the district health office, an educator at the “KinderReich” nursery school in the Lobberich district was infected with the new type of coronavirus. “Based on the current status of the investigation, 15 children and seven educators are considered direct contact persons,” a district spokeswoman said. “The health department will not close the nursery.” The facility owner will decide on a possible closure for organizational reasons.
There is also a case of corona in the Nettetal municipal hospital. A patient there tested positive for the coronavirus. The health department is still determining how many people were in direct contact with the patient.
There are currently no plans to revive the crisis team, a district spokesperson said upon request. “The most important part of the work is also carried out without a crisis team: fighting the outbreak, tracking, testing, protecting hotspots, nursing homes and other facilities.” Above all, the crisis team would be important to decide on further measures. “So we monitor the incidence of seven days in particular.
