An official statement from the company reads: “With respect to current events surrounding Michael Wendler, we make it clear that we will terminate the contractual relationship with Michael Wendler entirely and will resolutely distance ourselves from his statements. Your current statements and your behavior towards us, but also towards other contractual partners, are not compatible with our company values and we will not tolerate them in any way. “
But not only that, according to “Bild” and “TVMovie”, “Uncle Sam” is claiming 250,000 euros that have already been paid for an advertising contract. “We terminated the contract with immediate notice and now we are trying to get our money back,” says Michael Geiss, who runs the company.
Kaufland can remove advertising videos with Michael Wendler
Kaufland also does not tolerate Wendler’s behavior. The company posted the following lines on Twitter Thursday night: “Our video with Michael Wendler was about fun and irony.
