In an accident on the A66 near Hofheim, two cars were burned on Saturday. One person was killed. The accident is said to have been preceded by an illegal race with two Lamborghinis and a Porsche.

According to the spokesman, the accident occurred on Saturday afternoon between the Diedenbergen district and Hofheim. Initially, the police were unable to provide any information on the identity of the dead and injured.
According to information from the Hessischer Rundfunk, there should have been an illegal race between two Lamborghinis and a Porsche before the accident. One of the Lamborghinis then crashed into the central barrier and then into a Skoda that was not participating in the race. Both vehicles were completely burned, there was also a follow-up accident with two other injuries. Autobahn 66 was completely closed for several hours on Saturday afternoon in the direction of Frankfurt.
