Besides pop titan Dieter Bohlen, Germany’s king of pop hits should find a new superstar. Michael Wendler ends his engagement on the RTL casting show out of nowhere. And irritated with his other statements, including the pandemic.
It was a brief interlude: Schlager star Michael Wendler quit his job as a juror on the RTL casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” a few weeks after announcing his participation. The Wendler announced this on their Instagram channel. “This is a decision that I made for myself here and today. I repeat: the station had no influence on my decision and I did not make this decision, but myself,” Wendler said on Instagram.

Wendler had already canceled a DSDS session scheduled for Wednesday because he had made a spontaneous trip to the United States.
