In Dresden-Pieschen there was an accident at the Maxim-Gorki-Straße / Hansastraße intersection in which a Volkswagen collided with a motorcycle.
Dresden – A VW collided with a motorcycle on Thursday morning at the Maxim-Gorki-Straße / Hansastraße intersection. Both drivers were injured.

According to the Dresden police, the traffic accident occurred around 5.55 am in Pieschen-Nord.
The Volkswagen driver left town on Hansastraße, apparently when the traffic lights were red.
This caused a collision with the motorcyclist who would have had the right of way on Maxim-Gorki-Strasse.
Both drivers were injured in the collision and required medical attention.
Meanwhile, the street was secured and cleared by fellow fire brigades.
The intersection area is currently closed.
There is still no information on the amount of material damage suffered. The final cause of the accident has not yet been clarified.
Police department officers Dresden relevant investigations have been initiated.
