Donald Trump: “I’ll be out of the hospital on Monday”

US President Donald Trump is expected to leave the hospital later on Monday. The president of the United States wrote that on Twitter. Consequently, his release is scheduled for 6.30 pm (local time). It feels very good. He also told his followers not to “be afraid” of the corona virus: “I feel better than 20 years ago,” Trump tweeted. Under his rule, “great medicines and knowledge” had been developed.

The president of the United States only spent three nights at Walter Reed Military Hospital. Trump’s doctor, Sean P. Conley, had already raised the possibility of an early discharge on Sunday. Trump could continue to receive treatment at the White House, which has a hospital wing. “We are still optimistic that he can return to the White House later in the day,” Chief of Staff Mark Meadows told Fox News on Monday. Trump has made “incredible progress,” Meadows said regarding the president’s health.

Previously, there had been conflicting information about Trump’s health from his personal physician, Sean P. Conley. He had initially reacted evasively to the question of whether the president of the United States had at least temporarily needed oxygen therapy. It wasn’t until Sunday that Conley confirmed that the president’s oxygen levels had dropped Friday morning. Several US media had previously reported on it. Trump also received oxygen, according to Conley. However, the president was pretty sure that he would not need the therapy.

After the president’s supporters had been gathering in front of the hospital for days, he paid them a visit on Sunday. From a black truck, Trump greeted fans in Bethesda, north of Washington, on Sunday, as seen in a video on Twitter. The incident drew massive criticism: Trump exposed the bodyguards who were with him in the car to a risk of infection because of their public relations appearance.

Trump has now also responded to these criticisms, also via Twitter, of course: he just wanted to thank his fans and supporters who had been in front of the hospital hours before even days. If he did, the media would have said he was “rude,” Trump wrote.
