Reaction to Rudy’s departure
FC Schalke 04 reacted to the departure of Sebastian Rudy (30) with the signing of Kilian Ludewig. The 20-year-old right-back was recently active for Barnsley FC and will receive a loan deal with the Royal Blues until the end of the season. At his parent club, Red Bull Salzburg, he still has a working document until 2022.

Schneider has still known the German junior international since his descent at RB Leipzig. He has a contract in Salzburg since 2018, last January he moved on loan to Barnsley. The championship club had only extended the agreement with the Austrians until the end of the 2020/21 season in mid-August.
